Riverside Village Family Apartments

As Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh said of the need to raze and rebuild the ailing Riverside Terrace complex, “This is not only about brick and mortar, it’s about pride and progress.” That sentiment remains the spirit behind the Riverside Village Family Apartments project, a 245-unit new construction development embarked on by Roizman Development, who engaged ETC to build this complex. Now completed, Riverside serves as one of the crowning jewels of new-construction affordable housing in the State of New Jersey.

In addition to constructing a four-story senior building and 165 family townhomes, we built a large community center along with common amenities that include basketball courts, a playground, and a children’s room, among other modern conveniences. The senior building offers lounge areas, an outdoor patio, and garden space, along with a state-of-the-art community room with a warming kitchen.

We have demolished the condemned Housing Authority buildings that had occupied the site and completed extensive grading and other sitework required, including modular retaining and pile walls. All of the buildings are in various stages of construction, with the remaining work scheduled for completion by the Summer of 2022.
