Vantage 78 Apartments

Vantage 78 was a 168 unit affordable housing initiative located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Interior/common area work consisted of the complete renovation and modernization of unit kitchens and bathrooms and the installation of energy efficient lighting, appliances, low flow consumption water closets, new VCT apartment/entry flooring and smoke detectors. Where applicable, apartments were made to be ADA compliant. Additional highlighted work consisted of the replacement of electrical panels, installation of energy efficient Low E windows, hot water heaters, and hallway lighting. The job also undertook an extensive rehab to the existing management office, laundry room and community room. The building envelope also saw substantial masonry, stair landing, entry roof, siding, vent block and gable vent repairs. General site improvements, including a substantial re-engineering of the buildings drainage system, a large scale parking lot repair, landscaping, and new concrete walks and curbs were also completed.
